What is a Senior Model?
A Senior Model is a young lady or young man who has agreed to represent and promote Mark Denman Photography for the 2011 school year in exchange for credits that can be applied to purchasing their Senior Portraits. Each year we choose a select group of students (current juniors) to represent our studio. The models are selected via application.
Who is eligible?
If you attend a private school, public school or if you are home schooled and graduating in 2011, you are eligilble.
What do I get as a MDP Senior Model?
You will receive 2 FREE Photo Sessions (1st to take place BEFORE August 31st 2010, the 2nd to take place DURING thefall of your Senior School year) and the opportunity to earn referral credits to be used toward your portrait purchases. You also get 20% off your prints prices (we do have a $350 minimum print order)!
How can I earn referral credits?
The beauty in our referral system is that you can refer anyone to Mark Denman Photography…not just Seniors. Referring seniors you receive larger credits but you can also receive credits by referring clients for Family portraits, Children, Weddings, Headshots and anyone else who has a need to have portraits made.
Do I get paid?
Not in the traditional sense. You’ll earn credits to purchase prints and other products. The referral credits you could earn are listed here:
REFERRING SENIORS
2 Referrals – Receive a $150 credit toward your senior portrait order. BONUS – If your first two referrals are photographed before July 31st, 2010, you will receive a $250 credit toward your order for getting them in earlier.
3 Referrals – Additional $50 off your portrait/product order.
4 Referrals – Additional $50 off your portrait/product order and 25 additional custom designed Graduation Announcements
5=> Referrals – Additional $50 off your protrait/product order
Other Referrals
Referral for Wedding – $150*
Referral for Family Portraits – $50*
Referral for Child Portraits – $50*
Referral for Headshot – $35*
All other Referrals – $25*
A referral is not a referral until there is a scheduled session that has been paid for. If any session is cancelled the referral credit is lost.
*It’s important to understand that REFERRAL CREDITS HAVE NO DOLLAR VALUE. You cannot elect to “withdraw” your referral credits as cash.
Are there any other perks?

- MDP Seniors Models also receive a free family portrait session for their family. This session must be completed by May 31st 2011. ($125.00 Value)
- Free Christmas Portrait Session
- Facebook ready images for their facebook album and profile. Images will be watermarked with the MDP brand and the watermark cannot be removed.
- 25 free custom designed graduation announcements.
- 25 Senior referral cards
- Will be featured on the upcoming MDP senior website
What do I need to do to apply?
- Fill out our online application.
If you are accepted, we will send you an application with the answers from your online application to be signed by you and your parent/guardian and we will begin planning your session.
What else do I need to know?
Mark Denman Photography we are fair and honest in how we treat each client. There are some stipulations that we strictly adhere to. They are:
- We will not photograph ANY Senior Model even if they are 18 without the written consent of a parent.
- We will not photograph ANY Senior Model alone. Another adult must be present at all times.
- We will not photograph ANY Senior Model in bathing suits, scantly clothed or in any way that is sexually suggestive. EVEN WITH PARENTAL CONSENT. Its not our style and its not what we want to promote.
- We are not just looking for size 2 Senior Models or Mr. McDreamy. You don’t have to look like a Hollywood star to be one of our models. We choose models based on personality and activities and we’re looking for models that truly love my style and photos and are excited about being photographed by Mark Denman Photography.
